We still have a lot going on at the farm despite the waning daylight hours and cooler temperatures. Our delicious fall greens are in abundance (kale, swiss chard, arugula, salad mix, mustard greens) and our summer crops are still producing (peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, hot peppers, green beans). We’ve got fall favorites like pumpkins and apples available. We still have our fresh chickens every week, as well as our pastured eggs. Our grass-fed beef and pastured pork are available in your favorite cuts. Pick up a roast to warm up the house on a chilly evening, or some soup bones to make a healthy pot of broth.
We are also taking reservations for our pasture-raised Thanksgiving turkeys (see the “Turkey” section under “Our Animals” for details). You can make a reservation in person at our farm store or at one of our off-farm markets.
We will continue to be open regular hours (Thursday-Friday 1pm-6pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm) until around Thanksgiving. We will then move into our winter market (the trailer across the parking lot) and be open Thursday-Friday 1pm-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm all winter long.
