Lima Family Farms is located mid-way on an old Lenape trail that connected Philadelphia to Manhattan in what is now Central New Jersey. Our regenerative farm raises 100% grass-fed/grass-finished beef cattle as well as pastured pork and poultry.
We have a unique operation at Lima Family Farms – in addition to raising our own livestock, we also have an on-farm USDA inspected red meat abattoir and hand butcher facility. This allows us to provide weekly fresh cuts of meat direct-to-consumer at our market which is located on the farm.
We are active members of the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA) and North Jersey RC&D participating in continuing education by attending our neighboring farms and hosting tours at our farm.
