Q. Are your meats organic?
Our meats are not Certified Organic. However, we do not use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides on our pastures. Our pasture is where our animals live. You can read more about the diet of our animals here.
Q. Do you grow your own produce?
We don’t grow our own produce, but we do outsource from partnered local farms and they are sold in our market.

Q. What are your most popular products?
Our chicken, beef and eggs.
Q. How are the cows grass fed during the winter?
We cut and bale grass during the warmer months and feed this baleage to the cows during the winter when the ground is frozen.
Q. Why the name Lima?
It is the family name. Nothing to do with Lima, Peru 😉
Q. What is Primal Ground Beef?
Our primal beef is a blend of our ground beef that also includes beef heart and liver.
Q. Where do your animals live during the winter?
We have barns for the animals to shelter in during the winter months, while still having access to go outside.
Q. Do you sell your meat anywhere else? / Do you attend any Farmers Markets?
We do not currently attend any farmers markets. Go to our Partners page to find local stores that carry our meats and eggs.
